I am counting down the days to my 30th birthday, and I couldn’t be more excited! Truly! As I was brainstorming ways to celebrate here on the blog, I couldn’t help but think that 30 lists of {30} items would be just about perfect for my type-A, list-making self. Join me for the next month as I share the things I’ve learned in the past 30 years and my hopes for the future! See all 30 Days of {30} posts here.

Confession: I’m a little nervous about hitting publish on this post. I read a lot of blogs, and I consider a lot of bloggers my friends. So narrowing down a list to just 30 blogs means I will inevitably leave someone off. If you’re reading this, and we’re friends, and you’re not on the list below, please know it’s not meant as a slight. Chances are I do read your blog faithfully, I promise! But for this list, I narrowed it down to the 30 that resonate most with me at this time in my life.

Reading lots of blogs and adding my favorites to Tumblr & Twitter (and my weekend posts) is truly one of the best parts of my jobs. I know many bloggers give up blog reading as more and more tasks demand their attention, but I love discovering — and sharing — new things, and going through Google Reader is one of my favorite daily tasks!

    Awwww! Thanks for mentioning SortaCrunchy, Mandi! As you know, we are long-time mutual fans. This is such a great list and mirrors mine very closely – except you tend to read a few more food/cooking blogs than I do and I have a few more lifestyle blogs, I think.

    I LOVE the idea of counting down to 30, and I have to say my 30s have absolutely ROCKED. It’s the best decade, I’m just sure of it. :)

    I love all of these blogs! I read Simple Mom, Kitchen Stewardship, Simple Organized Living and Blogging With Amy almost daily. Of course, Life You Way is high on my list, too. I also like to read Kludgy Mom, The Mom Writes, and Life as Mom daily. (I hope that one day I get listed on someone’s top 30 blogs!) :)

    Totally honored to have made your list, Mandi. :) And Blogging Your Way happens to be one of the very few that I actually still subscribe to. I totally fall into that camp of bloggers who barely read anymore due to lack of time as you mentioned, which really is soooo sad- I love reading blogs! 

    But, when I do read, you mentioned so many of the ones that I read… the Simple Living family of blogs, Jon Acuff, Michael Hyatt, lots of the same recipe/food blogs, A Holy Experience, etc. You’ve got good taste, my friend!
