It’s been a while since I’ve updated or shared my résumé, but when I saw the creative résumé from designer Katie Briggs (#5), I was inspired to get to work on my portfolio site. It’s still not done, but I love the idea of putting a creative spin on otherwise boring information, and this is especially important for people in creative fields such as design, marketing, etc.
Each of these designs really reflects the creativity and style of its designer, and there’s not much room for copying, but I hope this will inspire you to put a fresh spin on your résumé or portfolio site as well.
I love a good quote. It doesn’t have to be from someone well known or written in pretty fonts; I just love to find a sentence or paragraph that I can sit and chew on for a while, one that resonates in my heart and soul.
When I joined Pinterest, I did not expect that I would ever have a “quotes” board, but it wasn’t long before I couldn’t resist pinning the great quotes I was coming across. Now, my Quotable Quotes board is one of my favorite, and these quotes are some of my favorites.
(Side note: I’ve included the original source where I could, but not all of these have an original source, so please let me know if you know who created any of the images that I don’t currently have sourced!)
